Out In The Cold

All of a sudden I came to think of this great song with Judas Priest from their magnificent "Priest...Live!" album released in 1987:

It's been a long time since I listened to the album, but it used to be one of my all time favourites, and I had goose bumps every time I played it. Back in the day your world really was the albums and the cassettes you owned, now you "own" every record possible, as they're all available within the reach of a mouse click. But the thing is, when your world was "smaller", the things that were in it were greater. Which probably sums up, compared to then, why the feeling when I listen to this album today isn't even close. It's pretty damn sad actually. We have "everything" now, but do we have more?

Happy New Year!
