The backside of today's hasty society is lack of reflection. In musical terms this means listening to a new album, at best, once, then rapidly moving on to the next one.
Perhaps that is why I should feel blessed, as I've finally come to like (and remember!) a new song. I'm talking about the new Ian Gillan, Tony Iommi & Friends collaboration, Who Cares, resulting in the two-track EP 'Out Of My Mind'. This marks Gillan's and Iommi's first joint studio effort since Black Sabbath's 1983 release 'Born Again'.
The 'backside' of the single contains 'Holy Water', a simply beautifully crafted composition. I strongly suggest you have a listen to it. Lie back and enjoy, soulfully consume the music, take a look at the album cover, listen to the words, and try to remember what it really felt like to experience a song...
